These tips can help you continue to train without the worry of further injury. But, before jumping in make sure you’re not in major pain because the “no pain no gain” mentality is not cool. I am referring to minor injuries.
Start slow - You can easily hurt yourself again if you return from a layoff and go right into a hard session! We take the time to ask questions, learn your background, and find the right program for YOU! Some people do better with our 1 on 1 or semi-private sessions vs. our group. We have different
levels and modifications in all of our groups.
Technique is everything - If you’re not doing the exercise right, you won’t benefit from it. And even worse, you could be aggravating a current or old injury.
In some cases, the same exercise will look different from person to person. This is where the eye of an expert can help you benefit. An expert, not just someone training with you that has no understanding of YOUR injuries, fitness level, and goals. 🙂
Focus on what you can do - You might have a knee issue but can still do low impact variations. You might have a shoulder issue, but you can still do rows or landmine presses instead of overhead pressing. There are a million ways to get cardio in without running.
Your body (and goals) change over time - A program that worked for you in your 20s might not be ideal for you in your 40s, 50s, 60s, and over 70! Maybe a beach body is not your goal anymore. Instead, it’s enjoying life with your grandkids!

My prediction ?!- Even though the Chiefs are the better team, I am going with the "old guy" who is wearing a better looking jersey this year. Back in 2017, I said I would never pick against him unless he is playing the 49ers. I have the 49ers winning the 2022 Super Bowl.
Everyone who responds to this email with a prediction gets entered to Win. You choose from 2 one on one sessions, or a free month of group(in person or virtual). I will write your name on a piece of paper and pick 2 winners out of my lucky 49ers hat :)
