Do Diets Work?

Hello

Yes and No, let me explain.

They all work if you can follow them long term. So the real answer is none of them work. You will be on for 4 weeks and then off for 8 weeks. You will keep coming up with start dates and that means you will also have an end date, that is not good. End dates mean the weight will pile back on.

Every diet is calories in and calories out. Complicated sells, diet books to be specific. You might have been tricked by one person with BS like if you don't eat 6 times per day,  eat as soon as you wake up, time your carbs right, or remove them, etc. then you will not lose fat!

Paleo might tell you to remove starches and increase protein, fiber, and water. This keeps you full. If you are full there is less of a chance you will eat your hand off,  AKA...take in less calories. The Weight watchers people will make you track every single thing that enters your mouth, forever. Are you really going to do that? Do you plan to do stay on Weight watchers for the next 50 years?

We help members find a balance. We help them build habits. We get rid of the "diet mentality." We help them not go backwards, because that is usually the quickest way to move forward.  We help them stay on their plans because accountability is a big deal. In fact I have seen  bad plans work with accountability. Time flies and that one habit, that one pound, is going to show up...either on you or off of you.

Do you need to be held accountable? What if you do nothing? Or the same thing you did before that did not work? I think you know the answer to those questions so  maybe its time to respond (info@resultsperformancetraining.com ) to set up that FREE SUCCESS SESSION if you need some help reaching your fitness goals!
