Signs A Low Carb Diet Is Not For You

Hi ,

If you're like many people looking for weight loss, you've heard it time and time again - low carb diets are the single best way to go.

People think that there's something 'magical' about a low carb diet that will instantly have them shedding the weight before no time.  But, is that really the case?

The fact of the matter is that low carb diets are not always the best approach for everyone.  In some cases, they may do more harm than good.

Let's look at a few of the main signs that would indicate that a low carb diet is just not in your best interests.

You Feel Tired All The Time
The first big sign that low carb diets are not for you is if you feel constantly tired all day long.  While some people adapt to running off fat as a fuel source perfectly, others don't.  They need those carbs to feel at their best at all times.

If you feel tired after two weeks on a low carb diet, you may want to think about using a more moderate approach.

Your Brain Is Fuzzy
Second, another big sign that a low carb diet isn't the best option for you is if it makes your brain feel very fuzzy.  That 'fuzzy' minded feeling is quite normal when first starting a low carb diet, but generally your body should adapt to it after about a week.

Some people don't adapt to this either, just like with the fatigue factor, so that too indicates some carbs are necessity for you.

You Crave Carbs Like Mad
Finally, the last sign that a low carb diet isn't the greatest of approaches for your diet is if they make you crave carbs like mad. If you're naturally a carb-oholic, putting yourself on a low carb diet isn't the best of ideas.  Adherence plays a big factor in your diet success and you just won't have the adherence levels with this approach.
You do need to enjoy your diet as well - a perfect diet that you hate is not going to be effective in the long run.

So there you have the main points to consider. If any of these apply to you, consider a more mixed diet plan instead.
