It’s that time of the year when I hear “I will just wait until January to start.”
No!! You still have 2 Months left to make progress! Or at least not go backwards! Not going backwards is a BIG deal!
Slow progress between now and January is better than putting on 10 pounds because “now is not the right time.” The progress you make in January is just getting you back to square one.
I have noticed that people who start in November and December get BETTER results! Yes, better results. The main reason is their mindset. Best effort under the current circumstances beats waiting until things are perfect. Because things will never be
perfect.
Momentum is a BIG deal! I would rather see you do 1-2 days a week now, versus waiting until you are able to go “all in.” This allows you to get through the “figuring it out” phase of transformation. The
“figuring it out” phase is when you make mistakes, get coaching, and start to make adjustments to develop habits. Please stop expecting results in week one or two. It takes time!
Everyone who does one or two days a week with us ends up doing more outside of the session. They end up cleaning up their diet a bit. Before you know it they have developed strong habits. Strong habits allow you to keep exercising. To keep the weight
off.
We have variations of our 6 week challenge for people who can not make it to our studio. We have coaching
services where we design short workouts that you can do anywhere. Give you advice on how to eat on the road , during the holidays.
There is nothing magic about starting in January,on a Monday, or at the beginning of the month. Perfectionist always fail to make progress. Do what you can do, with what you have. Now!
The transformation process does not start until you have a setback. This is why Coaching and Accountability lead to results. You need someone to keep you on track and tell you the truth. This will not be easy, even with a coach. I can promise it will be
worth it! Stop making it so hard on yourself and ask for help.
