Everyone should have resistance bands! They are versatile, work for all fitness levels, and you can put them in your suitcase when you travel. Check out this video I made with some of my favorite band exercises => Top Band Exercises
☑️ 20 minute Strength Training?
Q- If you only had 20 minutes and a band what would you do for strength training?
A- You can get a lot of work done in 20 minutes if you are focused! If I only had 20 minutes I would ...
=> focus on compound multi-joint exercises that work a lot of muscle groups.
=> superset or set up a circuit versus having long rest periods.
=> Pick about 5 to 6 exercises and try to get in 2-3 sets of each one.
=> switch up between timed stations and rep based goals
I would focus on movements vs muscle, meaning in order for you to write an effective workout without as much effort. One that does not get boring. I would choose from these categories …
*Upper body push - examples are push ups, band overhead press
*Upper body pull - band rows
*Core - plank, side plank, endless options here
*Lower body - squats, lunges, bridge, band side walks
*Cardio - jumping jacks, can keep this low impact or a million other things
